§ Что такое RSS
RSS - семейство XML-форматов, предназначенных для описания лент новостей, анонсов статей, изменений в блогах и т. п. Информация из различных источников, представленная в формате RSS, может быть собрана, обработана и представлена пользователю в удобном для него виде специальными программами-агрегаторами.
§ Описание модуля
С помощью данного модуля JaguarCMS появляется возможность транслировать содержание сайта в виде RSS. Посетители сайта смогут, подписавшись с помощью своей любимой программы синдикации RSS-каналов, быть всегда в курсе обновлений на сайте.
Так же вебмастер может добавить свою ленту общедоступные сервисы синдикации RSS(Яндекс. Лента, Google Reader, Новотека, Bloglines и т.п.), чтобы как можно больше пользователей узнали о сайте.
Данный модуль дает возможность экспортировать Статьи JaguarCMS
§ Установка и настройка модуля
После скачивания архива с модулем, распакуйте его на локальную машину.
Если вы устанавливайте этот модуль на "чистую" версию JaguarCMS (вы самостоятельно не меняли код JaguarCMS и не устанавливали еще другие модули), то просто скопируйте файлы из директории архива www в директорию, в которую вы ранее установили JaguarCMS. (Если вы не уверены, то следуйте советам из следующего абзаца)
Если вы ранее изменяли исходные тексты JaguarCMS самостоятельно или устанавливали другие модули, то:
Скопируйте файл из архива /www/rss.php в директорию, в которую вы ранее установили JaguarCMS.
В файл .htaccess на сервере добавте строчку
RewriteRule ^rss.xml?$ /rss.php [L]
В файл header.tmp.php скина на сервере (вероятнее всего /skins/default/layers/header.tmp.php) добавте строчку где-либо в тело тэга <head>..</head>

Изменение количества экспортируемых элементов. Чтобы настроить количество элементов, которые будут экспортироваться в одной ленте, измените переменную $length в строке 3 файла rss.php. По умолчанию экспортируется 100 элементов
§ Использование модуля
После того как установка модуля завершена, RSS-лента вашего сайта будет доступна по адресу http://site.net/rss.xml, эту ссылку можно вставить в любое место на вашем сайте, добавить в меню, добавить в публичные синдикаторы RSS-лент.
Так же, если браузер пользователя поддерживает данную функцию, он увидет в адресной строке значек, указывающий на то, что данный сайт транслирует себя в формате RSS:
